Bio
Jordan Duzenack, of Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colorado, was pretty interested in the MCC volleyball program and wanted to take a closer look at the school and decided to help move her high school teammate, McKenna Crews, into her Brooks Hall dorm room on freshman move-in day in August of 2021.
At Thompson Valley, Duzenack played in 199 sets over three years, compiling 464 kills, 196 digs, 67 total blocks and 29 service aces. During her senior year she had 199 kills (2.3 per set) with a .392 kill percentage, 24 blocks, and 20 digs. During her junior year she received her school's offensive player of the year award.
In addition, she was a member of the track team her freshman year competing in the 100-meter, high jump and 4x100 meter events.
Academically, she received an academic achievement award for maintaining a grade-point-average higher than 3.50.
"Jordan will be a fun addition to our team," said Kobza. "She has a strong swing and is a hard worker."
At Thompson Valley, Duzenack and Crews helped lead the Eagles to a state tournament appearance.
"McKenna had been telling me all about McCook and I thought it sounded like a good fit," she said. "And when I helped her move in, I liked it a lot."
