MCC softball adds four games in Texas for weekend slate

The McCook Community College softball team, which had no games schedule until Feb. 25, has picked up four games at the Cisco College Invite Friday and Saturday in Brownwood, Texas.

MCC, 1-1 will see four different opponents. On Friday they play Temple College at 2:15 p.m. and Western Oklahoma State College at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, the schedule starts with a 10 a.m. game against Cisco College followed at 2:30 p.m. against Odessa College.

MCC's opening weekend trip to Texas Feb. 3-4 was canceled because of cold weather, but the team did get a doubleheader in at home against Colby Feb 7. After dropping the first game 7-5, MCC won the second game 11-8.
