Bio

Rachel Conroy is continuing her sixth season with the MCC Indian softball team. She began as a pitcher and second baseman for the team from 2012-2014 and after graduation from MCC continued on as volunteer on the coaching staff while working as a senior resident assistant in Brooks Hall and completing her bachelor’s degree at Bellevue University.

In 2016 Conroy took over as the interim head coach leading the team to the second winningest team (at the time) in school history; a conference championship; and earning Coach of the Year.

After leaving the program for a few years, the opportunity presented itself again in the fall of 2019 for Rachel to join the team as interim head coach for the fall season; and again in the fall of 2022. Rachel joined the team last year alongside coach Mike Mendenhall who acted as her assistant coach in 2016. Rachel’s primary focus is the pitching staff.

Coach Conroy lives in McCook with her husband, Christian, and their two sons, Walker and Ty.
