Charlie Russick - Volleyball

Charlie Russick is a sophomore on the volleyball team.

She is a 5-8 outside hitter from Berthoud High School in Colorado.

Russick appeared in 34 matches during her freshman season with 225 kills, 213 digs, 31 blocks and five service aces.

This year, she ed the team with 193 kills this season to go along with 130 digs, 21 blocks and nine service aces. She was fourth among hitters in the south with 2.88 kills per set. Russick reached double-digit in kills 10 matches this season with a season best 17 coming twice, on back-to-back nights Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 against Southeast Community College and North Platte. For her career, in 56 matches she compiled 418 kills, 343 digs, 52 blocks and 14 service aces. 

She was named to the All-Region IX South Second team. For her career, in 56 matches she compiled 418 kills, 343 digs, 52 blocks and 14 service aces.

In both of her first two semesters at MCC, the Science Major was named to the President’s List for students with grade-point averages higher than 3.90.

This past summer she was named to the 2024-2025 Academic All-Region IX Women’s team and was also selected to the NJCAA All-Academic First team for student-athletes with 4.0 grade-point averages.
