Graci Nelson - Softball

Graci Nelson, is a 2024 graduate of MCC and a two-year catcher on the softball team. The McCook High School graduate and science major received her Associate degree in May. She served as MCC’s Student Senate President and represented MCC at the monthly Board of Governor’s meetings.

She was selected to the Dean’s List three times for students with GPA’s between 3.5 and 3.89.

Nelson was one of four sophomore captains on the team. After batting .257 as a freshman, she sustained an injury on the opening day doubleheader after two hits in seven at bats. She came back to play in one game in late April.

For her career she batted .252 with 29 hits including five doubles, two triples and 20 RBIs in 51 career games.
