Louis Tucker - Basketball

Louie Tucker is a sophomore on the men’s basketball team.

The 6-5 guard from Bristol, United Kingdom is MCC’s top returning scorer on the team.

He started all 32 games as an MCC freshman in 2023-2024, averaging a team-best 14.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He had a season-high 27 points with nine 3-pointers in a game at Laramie County CC. He was named all-Region IX third team, tabbed for the Omaha World-Herald's All-Midlands Junior College team and to the all-Nebraska Community College Athletic Association team.

He is averaging 11.0 points and 7.0 rebounds through the first three games this season.

Recently he was named one of three MCC male student-athletes as finalists for the Myron Mingo Male Teammate of the Year. He was nominated the basketball team’s top teammate of the year for having the attributes required to be a good teammate.
