Top MCC academic team, athletes named for 2023-2024

McCook Community College has named its recipients for the 2023-2024 academic athletic honors of the year. The announcement came at the MCC Athletic Banquet held at the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.

The MCC women's basketball team was named the school's academic team of the year. Coach Brandon Pritchett accepted the award on behalf of the team.

Sophomore Audra Vine (Thornton, Colo.) a member of the women's basketball team was named female academic athlete of the year. Sophomore baseball pitcher Jackson Finder (Lincoln) was named male academic athlete of the year.

These awards were announced at the Athletic Banquet Monday by Athletic Director Jon Olsen.
