LA JUNTA, Colo. – The McCook Community College men went on the road Friday for a Region IX South contest and lost to Otero Junior College 100-79.
"We didn't play well tonight especially in the second half," said MCC Coach Jacob Brandl.
Statistics for the game were not available.
Otero goes to 14-3 on the year and 2-0 in the south region standings.
"Otero is an extremely talented and deep team and when you consistently make the same mistakes you just give yourself no chance at winning a basketball game like that," Brandl said.
MCC falls to 4-15 and 1-3 in the Region IX South
"Tomorrow is a crucial game for us and our season," Brandl said.
MCC will be in Trinidad Saturday for a 5 p.m. matchup with the Trojans (7-7, 1-1).
