MCC Men to play Northeastern Friday for Sophomore Night

The McCook Community College men's game with Northeastern Junior College, that was postponed because of the weather Thursday, has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Friday at the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.

This men's only game will also be Sophomore Recognition Night with a brief ceremony prior to the game.

MCC is 9-16 overall and tied for second with three other teams in the Region IX South at 4-4 – including Northeastern Junior College, which is 13-11 overall.

In their first matchup of the year on Feb. 4 at Sterling, Colo., MCC came away with a 77-74 win.

MCC will continue Region IX play Saturday at Scottsbluff against Western Nebraska (13-12, 4-4).
