MCC Softball moves up game times for Tuesday

The starting time for Tuesday’s doubleheader between the McCook Community College softball team and Dakota College-Bottineau has been moved up one hour. First pitch will be 1 p.m. at the Jaycees Sports Complex.

No. 15 Iowa Western CC swept a pair of games Sunday against MCC. The Reivers won both games in their last bats winning the first game 2-1 and taking the second game 14-12 to sweep the three-game series.
Lady Indians sweep four-game series at Trinidad

The MCC softball team completed a four-game sweep over Trinidad State to open Region IX play this weekend. The Lady Indians won the Sunday games 12-0 and 12-2.

The MCC baseball team gave up four runs in the ninth inning Saturday against No. 15 Iowa Western Community College and lost in the bottom of the 10th to the Reivers 11-10.

The MCC softball team hit eight home runs in a doubleheader sweep over Trinidad State College Saturday to begin Region IX play. MCC won 11-0 and 20-3 with both games shortened to five innings because of the eight-run rule.

The Northeast Community College baseball team ended MCC’s nine-game win streak by taking the second game of a Saturday doubleheader at the Jaycees Sports Complex. MCC won the opener 10-6 and lost the second game 5-4 and left the tying run on third base.
MCC men dominate second half in win at TSJC

The MCC men played a dominating second half Saturday on the way to a 103-84 win on the road against Trinidad State College. The win secures fourth place in the Region IX South standings at 7-7 and sews up a home game for the opening round of next weekend’s Region IX Tournament.
Lady Indians win finale; clinch home playoff game

The MCC women’s basketball team picked up a 78-49 road win Saturday at Trinidad State. The win – coupled with North Platte’s 74-59 loss at Otero – clinched the No. 4 seed for MCC and gives the Lady Indians a first-round home game next weekend to open the Region IX tournament.

The MCC softball team swept a pair of games from Kansas City Kansas Community College Saturday. The Lady Indians took the first game from the No. 18 D2 team 3-2 and won the second game 9-2.
